Sick = lots of progress

 Hey everyone.....how are you?  I have been sick.  I knew I was sick, but when my ring first told me I had minor signs of something straining my body and then 3 hours later it was major signs for 2 days.....I knew I was as sick as I felt.  On top of A LOT of sleeping,  I got some knitting and crocheting done.

My dad did not know I was sick, but he must have sensed it because he brought me Char Sui......yum!

I also mailed off the sweater for Vera along with a knitting package for her to start knitting....it looks great on her and she has the perfect pants to match

I think last week I told you I got my valentines box.....well, I started a Scrappy Granny Tee:

I also ordered some cotton yarn that came in

I started a top down knit pullover with the lime first.....and I already divided for sleeves......because I have only been knitting or sleeping (or blowing my nose).

The only other thing I knit on was my Nuvem and I even managed to get 26 grams of yarn knit on it (lots of progress)!

Valentines came and as always, Lupe spoiled me

Not just with the above flowers but he also bought me new ear buds....now if you know me, you know I am a headphone/earphone JUNKIE!!  And he just recently bought me some apple max headphones.  So, I have....3 pairs bose over ear (all different models of quiet comfort, black, silver and cream), 2 pairs bose quiet control (there is a band that goes around neck so I do not lose the little ear buds), aftershokz with the band around back of neck, Sony Over ear, Bowers and Wilkens Px8's, apple air pods, apple max headphones and now some Shoks over ear buds...these are so awesome!  In my defense (this is a week defense I admit), I wear ear buds or headphones almost all day and like to switch em up for my ears.

On Sunday he took me to the laundry mat the wash our HUGE bed blanket......I do not think I have ever been to a laundry mat (I know, I am super sheltered).  I thought it was so much fun and Lupe thought I was crazy....LOL!

My mom called and I had to go over to her house to help her with her email.....my sister had dropped of pom pom yarn she bought years ago that she decided she is never going to use so I brought it home....  I am in love <3

Happy Valentine's Day!

Hey everyone, how are you?  I know I am early, but I will not be blogging for another week so I do not want to miss saying Happy Valentine's Day!  I hope you know you are are soooooo loved!

I ordered a Valentines Box from Chelsea Yarns....Here it is!

The only knitting I have done is on my Nuvem Squared.  I am determined to get this done this year before I hit the 9 year mark (even though I have older things....LOL). It takes about 3.5 grams for one round and I knit 23.5 grams this past week.  

I also was in the mood for some fancy nails....I found this pic online.....

and I went to the salon.....I love the result!

We also got a new Fridge.....I absolutely love it...it is so much larger.

I went to Paige's this past Friday to make them dinner and hang out with them.  I made Risotto

The following evening Paige, Kody and Antonio went to the spurs game....no doubt that Antonio did not want to be in pic...LOL!

Lastly, Lupe got me more flowers like he does every week!

Valentine's Day in January

Hey everyone.  How are you?  I am well.  Lupe continues to spoil me and gave me almost all my valentine's presents early.  I love them all!  

I got Lupe a ridiculously funny sponge holder he saw and said he wanted.

I have made 2 more hats.....these are for me since I did not finish them in time for Darlene's package to get sent.

 

Lupe has been bringing home some great Monster drinks and I have been trying some of the sugar free ones.

Lupe had an appointment for a consultation for Lasik surgery and his surgery is scheduled for this coming Friday....I am so excited for him, I still remember how great it was when I got it done 22 years ago.

On a sad note, a well known lace designer lost her husband suddenly and unexpectedly, so we are having a KAL in the  KALMYO group.  I have decided to try Tango Nuevo....I am enjoying it, but lace is harder for me, so I am not very fast at it.

My sister has requested some more Ballband Dishcloths...so I have started some for her, and also plan on making some for my mom and myself.  Here is what I have so far.

That is all I have this week...besides some adorable pics of Jackson sneaking in the bed for a nap.....LOL!
