Not Much Going On......

Hey everyone.....sorry I am a day late.  I do not have much going on in the knitting department.  I only worked on one thing....the test knit:

I am hoping to finish chart 3 later today.

We had terrible rain yesterday (even causing some flooding) and it has given me a killer headache.....all those lightning bolts to the left of SA is my area.

When we went on vacation last week I saw the little girl, Vera, where she loves to see me knit and I mailed her a little knitting kit so she could practice.....well, I got a video of her practicing.

Lupe bough me beautiful flowers....Look at this adorable boot some of the flowers were in

My bell peppers are almost ready to pick!  One is orange and I have two that are red and one is still green:

Lupe and I went to see my dad this past week and look at this doe just staring at us.....I think she wants to ask us if we have any corn....LOL!

Lastly, I finally talked Lupe into getting a good pellet grill.  I wanted him to ge a traeger, but he said those were too expensive but we found this pit boss on sale ($300 off) at costco.  He loves it.  It has an app where he can see the temperature and set the temp and see if the inside of the meat is a certain temp.....he was playing with it on Sunday and I was so happy!

That is really all I have this week.  I hope to have more next week (but first, my headache has to go away...my allergies have been worse this year than any other year!)

Happy 2nd Birthday Amira (and Happy Mother's Day to all Mothers)!

Hey everyone......how are you?  I have had a crazy week but hanging in there.  Not too much knitting, but lots of fun.

First......Amira's 2nd birthday!  I finished Bluey!

We got her a bluey chair and some clothes (I did not get pics of the clothes but they included Bluey PJs)

She loved it.....took her to play in the moon jump!

A couple other pics from the party

As I was seaming Bluey, I realized my tissues, energy drink and laptop all matched so I had to snap a pic!

and my favorite flowers ever!  I love looking at these on my desk!

Next was Mother's Day....I hope all Mothers reading this had an awesome Mother's Day!  Earlier in the week my babies (Jackson, Flower and Purl) paid to get my nails and toes done.....I love them!  Lupe said I should do something different like blue or purple so I went with purple and some daisies!

Aren't they cute!?!  On the actual day......Lupe got me more flowers (he really does spoil me) and we went to see my mom.

We saw Lupe's mom too, but I forgot to get a picture.  It was the first time anyone had navigated to her columbarium so I sent instructions to the family on how to get there.  My dad went and he was so happy he had directions to go see her.  Lupe and I went by his house and I swear my mom is looking after him.....here is a hawk that was keeping an eye out!

We also borrowed my dad's wheel barrow and an extra shovel because Lupe had some top soil dirt delivered.....6 cubic yards!

and he got busy putting the dirt down (look at my sexy fiance)!

He also made the most delicious brisket.....it was sooooo good and we have lots of left overs.

Lastly....how about some knitting?  LOL!  I worked on Paige's sweater.....I only have 5,428 stitches to go and it is done so I am hoping to finish it this week.

I got some yarn to make another one of these for myself.....I love the color.  This is Purl Soho Serif in Yellow Ochre color.

Now, as far as the Ankers sweater I want to have finished by the end of this month, well, I am about 11 days behind.....but, I am hoping to double up days for the next 11 days and maybe I can still have it done by end of month to wear to Peyton's graduation party on the 30th!  Fingers crossed.  I have just divided for sleeves.

Well, that is all I have.  I hope you all have an amazing week.

Sick = lots of progress

Hey everyone.....how are you?  I have been sick.  I knew I was sick, but when my ring first told me I had minor signs of something straining my body and then 3 hours later it was major signs for 2 days.....I knew I was as sick as I felt.  On top of A LOT of sleeping,  I got some knitting and crocheting done.

My dad did not know I was sick, but he must have sensed it because he brought me Char Sui......yum!

I also mailed off the sweater for Vera along with a knitting package for her to start knitting....it looks great on her and she has the perfect pants to match

I think last week I told you I got my valentines box.....well, I started a Scrappy Granny Tee:

I also ordered some cotton yarn that came in

I started a top down knit pullover with the lime first.....and I already divided for sleeves......because I have only been knitting or sleeping (or blowing my nose).

The only other thing I knit on was my Nuvem and I even managed to get 26 grams of yarn knit on it (lots of progress)!

Valentines came and as always, Lupe spoiled me

Not just with the above flowers but he also bought me new ear buds....now if you know me, you know I am a headphone/earphone JUNKIE!!  And he just recently bought me some apple max headphones.  So, I have....3 pairs bose over ear (all different models of quiet comfort, black, silver and cream), 2 pairs bose quiet control (there is a band that goes around neck so I do not lose the little ear buds), aftershokz with the band around back of neck, Sony Over ear, Bowers and Wilkens Px8's, apple air pods, apple max headphones and now some Shoks over ear buds...these are so awesome!  In my defense (this is a week defense I admit), I wear ear buds or headphones almost all day and like to switch em up for my ears.

On Sunday he took me to the laundry mat the wash our HUGE bed blanket......I do not think I have ever been to a laundry mat (I know, I am super sheltered).  I thought it was so much fun and Lupe thought I was crazy....LOL!

My mom called and I had to go over to her house to help her with her email.....my sister had dropped of pom pom yarn she bought years ago that she decided she is never going to use so I brought it home....  I am in love <3

That is really all I have.....I leave you with AWESOME pics of Amira going to visit my mom on Valentines Day!

Happy Happy Happy Knitting!
