Last Min Lake Lounging!

 Hey everyone....I hope you are warm....we got a crazy cold front moved in and it is 35 here in SA this morning.

Two weekends ago I had a family dinner at my sister's house and she said that the lakehouse would be empty this past weekend, so Lupe and I asked for Monday off and had a 3 day weekend at the lake.  It was filled with fun and relaxation.  It got super windy on Sunday and then we woke up Monday to super cold!  But it was a fabulous weekend (photo dump at and of post)....I knitted all weekend while Lupe spoiled me.  I made 4 dishcloth/potholders for my sister and left them there.

That is pretty much all I knit on...but when we got home, I worked on this blanket so I can get it done and off to Lupe's niece. This is not my favorite yarn, so I kinda just want to finish.  I only have one skein left.

Before we left to lakehouse I had dinner at Paige's and got to hang out with Tone and this cutie!

Paige made homemade brownies for Lupe and he loved them!

My mother sent me this text.....thankfully Tone still looks like me!

I ordered one of the new Apple MacBook Neo in pink.  It arrived today!

And, Lupe got 26.2 MPG, I only got a picture of 26.1 but he was super excited since gas prices are so high!

BRRRRRR, it is really COLD!!!!

 Hey everyone.  How are you?  We are very cold here in San Antonio, and I do get that there are millions of others that are even colder than us....but I am just not used to this cold weather!!  BRRRRR!!

Lupe made us a cuddly fire!

This past Friday Lupe got Lasik Surgery.  He loves his results!

Lupe bought me all grape skittles.....my favorite!

I also ordered some Crumbl cookies this week....they were so yummy!

I finished my sister's dishcloths......

I took them to my parent's house so my sister could get them there and my mom was so upset I had not made her some, so I made her some really quick and took them to her.

My dad gave Lupe this awesome pub coat!

and Lupe got me new flowers...they are gorgeous!

Valentine's Day in January

Hey everyone.  How are you?  I am well.  Lupe continues to spoil me and gave me almost all my valentine's presents early.  I love them all!  

I got Lupe a ridiculously funny sponge holder he saw and said he wanted.

I have made 2 more hats.....these are for me since I did not finish them in time for Darlene's package to get sent.

 

Lupe has been bringing home some great Monster drinks and I have been trying some of the sugar free ones.

Lupe had an appointment for a consultation for Lasik surgery and his surgery is scheduled for this coming Friday....I am so excited for him, I still remember how great it was when I got it done 22 years ago.

On a sad note, a well known lace designer lost her husband suddenly and unexpectedly, so we are having a KAL in the  KALMYO group.  I have decided to try Tango Nuevo....I am enjoying it, but lace is harder for me, so I am not very fast at it.

My sister has requested some more Ballband Dishcloths...so I have started some for her, and also plan on making some for my mom and myself.  Here is what I have so far.

That is all I have this week...besides some adorable pics of Jackson sneaking in the bed for a nap.....LOL!
