Happy Valentine's Day!

Hey everyone, how are you?  I know I am early, but I will not be blogging for another week so I do not want to miss saying Happy Valentine's Day!  I hope you know you are are soooooo loved!

I ordered a Valentines Box from Chelsea Yarns....Here it is!

The only knitting I have done is on my Nuvem Squared.  I am determined to get this done this year before I hit the 9 year mark (even though I have older things....LOL). It takes about 3.5 grams for one round and I knit 23.5 grams this past week.

I also was in the mood for some fancy nails....I found this pic online.....

and I went to the salon.....I love the result!

We also got a new Fridge.....I absolutely love it...it is so much larger.

I went to Paige's this past Friday to make them dinner and hang out with them.  I made Risotto

I did not get a pic, but Kody did......

and Paige sent me this one

The following evening Paige, Kody and Antonio went to the spurs game....no doubt that Antonio did not want to be in pic...LOL!

And Bizzle babysat Amira....I snagged this from her Instagram

Lastly, Lupe got me more flowers like he does every week!

I hope you all have a great week!

Daylight Savings

Hey everyone....well, we are officially saving time!  It is Daylight savings time here in Texas and I have never really 'gotten it', I just go with the flow.

My son, Mario, came over this past week to hang my tv for me....I love it hung on the wall....Thank you Mario!

Before

After:

and I paid him with Risotto and love!

I did not do much knitting but I was productive......I had my car washed

Precious got a bath and haircut.

Antonio and I worked on a few puzzles....here is one we finished

My dad had his 83rd birthday this past weekend....I went to their house with Jax (my parents were out of town)....you would think Jax was just waiting for Oma and Opa....hes so cute...I love his ear flop!

Antonio was a goofball stacking ottomans...

I did do some crocheting this week.....Darlene needs help getting one done for her great nephew, so I told her I would take it and work on it..

At one point when I was working on it, the doorbell rang (it was a puzzle delivery) and I dropped my hook for 2 min without realizing it...but that was free game for Jax

Precious just likes to cuddle in the blanket.

The only other thing I worked on was my crocheted blanket/good vibes throw.....

I'm still eating healthy but I only lost 0.66% fat this past month....I need to step it up....so salmon was on the menu

Have a great week everyone!

Sweater Burnout?

Hey everyone!  How are you?  I am doing great!  However, I feel like I am on a bit of a sweater burnout.......I finally got to divide for sleeves on my Torbellino....but I am tired of it....so I need a break.

I got a new hook from Furls from a great friend, Tammy....she knits/crochets with us at lunch....it is a rose gold/white one!

So, I used it to work on my Havana!

And then decided it would look great working on the Hugs and Kisses Blanket I started in July of 2018!

I also decided to crochet on Paige's Blanket....I only have like 4 stripes left so I really should just finish it!

The last knitting related item is the start of new socks for Karl....the last ones were too small!

As far as other things going on.....Paige got her car back....finally (which means I got mine back)!

After I got mine back, I found a ring that my mom gave to Paige years ago stuck under the seat.....she was thrilled I found it....she thought she lost it at the bowling alley on her birthday (the one on my ring finger below)!

During the week I made Banana bread and French Bread......I love bread!

and I made Darlene's favorite meal......Risotto!

Here is her lunch for today!

I ordered the new iPhone 11 Max Pro.....I cannot wait to get it!

Oh, and Antonio had golf lessons.....so this is not the greatest picture since I had to zoom so far.....but maybe with my new iPhone, the next picture will be better (We'll see)!

Have a great week everyone!
