Happy Valentine's Day!

Hey everyone, how are you?  I know I am early, but I will not be blogging for another week so I do not want to miss saying Happy Valentine's Day!  I hope you know you are are soooooo loved!

I ordered a Valentines Box from Chelsea Yarns....Here it is!

The only knitting I have done is on my Nuvem Squared.  I am determined to get this done this year before I hit the 9 year mark (even though I have older things....LOL). It takes about 3.5 grams for one round and I knit 23.5 grams this past week.  

I also was in the mood for some fancy nails....I found this pic online.....

and I went to the salon.....I love the result!

We also got a new Fridge.....I absolutely love it...it is so much larger.

I went to Paige's this past Friday to make them dinner and hang out with them.  I made Risotto

The following evening Paige, Kody and Antonio went to the spurs game....no doubt that Antonio did not want to be in pic...LOL!

New Truck and a New Month!!!!

 Hey Everyone!  How are you?  Can you believe it is already February?  I cannot....but I have great news!  My guy bought a new truck.....I am so proud of him.  This is his first ever purchase from a dealership and it is a beauty! He even let me drive it this past Friday to see Ped.....it was a joy to drive and it is even so somfortable to be a passenger.

Okay....knitting.....I have been wanting to order a "enchanged pages" set from Chelsea Yarns for a while now....so when she posted that she had some extras for January, I jumped on it and I am so thrilled I did.  I have even already ordered February's.

I have been knitting on a very very very old project from..........2017.  There is a blog post here from 2017 when Darlene and I were at the lakehouse and we decided to make double nuvem's.  So that means a nuvem that is like twice as large with 600 grams of yarn instead of 300.  I have had mine on the needles since then and have posted about it several times over the years.  My great friend, Jennifer, even took it one year and finished the first skein of yarn.  So I am officially on my second skein.  Darlene decided to frog hers somewhere along the way and I ended up with both of her skeins of yarn.

Anyway, I mentioned to Darlene that I pulled out my Nuvem for some mindless knitting and she mentioned that she wanted to do one too.  So, I have restarted hers and got it to the point where you do not need two needles....I am going to ship it to her today.

Here is mine...I managed to knit about 16 grams on mine this past week.

Lupe bought me some Apple Airpod Max Headphones (because he spoils me) and I ordered him some sour candies......I know I got the better deal here......but he does love his candies.

Crazy Carrie Checking In!

Hey everyone!  I have felt a little out of control lately and it feels like Crazy Carrie is taking over.....I hope she leaves soon.

First, my friend Elizabeth made an amazing shawl called Julie's Wrap by Joji Locatelli and I had to buy the exact same yarn....except I could not find it in sock yarn, so I had to get MCN (poor me)!

 The above pictures are Elizabeth's shawl.....below is the pic from the website where I ordered the yarn.

Then the place where I ordered the yarn from only had 3 skeins instead of 4....so I got completely different yarn....Madtosh sock yarn in the Antique Moonstone colorway.  It is more blue than I thought it would be, but I am really kinda digging it and Paige said it will look great!

Second..... my friend Jennifer finished knitting 1/2 my nuvem for me...and by 1/2, I mean she knit an entire 300 gram Wollmeise skein.

 So I got cake number 2 ready and attached that sucker

I even took the beast to golf with Antonio

Third, I also ordered the Jimmy Beans Hedgehog Fibers Blanket Club....this is all Darlene and Rosanna's fault...they are both doing it too.

Fourth (and I think Lastly), I decided to tackle my yarn room.....it is a disaster!  Here is my before picture.....I am not done so you will have to wait a while for my after picture!

Jaime and I had a nice valentine's dinner out.....I got an amazing Ribeye steak at Longhorn (yes, I gained a pound, but I think it might have been worth it....Ill go longer on the treadmill today).  He even brought me a single rose....

After golf my daddy took me to get some new running shoes for my birthday....I love them!

Oh, and I worked on my Vortex Sweater....I cannot wait to divide for sleeves on this!
