Are you ready for the 'ber months??

Hey everyone.  I hope you are well....we are just about a week away from the 'ber months.  SeptemBER, OctoBER, NovemBER, DecemBER!  I am so excited!!  It has been over 100 degrees here in Texas for so long I cannot even remember a day under 100 and no end to the heat in sight.

As for knitting, let me jump on it.  I finished my Morning Rain test.  I had plenty of yarn left, I should have made the shawl bigger, but you know what they say about hindsight.

I also got some yarn a couple of weeks ago that I forgot to show you!

I got some Cascade Yarns Kid Seta mohair.....10 skeins

Blue Sky Knits Organic Cotton in White....7 skeins

Cascade Yarns Noble Cotton in a Periwinkle kinda color.....7 skeins

I also got my nails done.  I was going to go with bright orange and then I saw this orange that I think matches some of my favorite PJs

I also cut my finger right after this....I was making my favorite bean salad and used one of those dicer things but forgot to unlock it before I tried to remove blade....I hope you are not squirmy with blood

I also am behind on my squares for Antonio.  I am only behind by about 8....so I hope to catch up tonight.  I need to get better disciplined and less distracted with all the other stuff I want to make!

The other stuff being the autumn pullover:

and socks

That is all I have for knitting/crocheting.....but, I did go to Paige's this past Wednesday and she made the most delicious salmon bowls

I bought Lupe some super cool knives so I convinced him to bbq for us and use the new knives (win for me).

That is all I have.  I hope you all have an amazing week!

Happy Happy Happy Knitting!
