I also finished the baby blanket for my son's friend....it will go in the mail today!
Hello everyone....Happy First Day Of Spring! I hope all is well with you!
I have been hanging in there....I really do not have much......but let me jump into it.
First, because I have ZERO things to work on (sarcasam at it's finest) and because I love knitting/crocheting the same things as my friends....I am going to start a new blanket. My friend, Jennifer sent me this pic the other day and I fell in love (it is called the Primavera Blanket...it is on You Tube by Cj Design)....yarn will be here tomorrow:
To get in the Crochet mood....I pulled out this old one for Paige and I did a few rows
Then my son told me aboout a friend who's girlfriend is expecting next week! So I gotta put the petal to the metal with this one.
I got the sweater to divide for sleeves...
And do you remember that puzzle I was going to get with that Pretty picture "Just a girl who loves yarn"? Well, I ordered it 3 times and it never made it to me (I think the amazon seller might be doing some sort of fraud)....but I found a canvas on etsy and I LOVE IT!
That is all I have.....except a few cute pics of the dogs (I swear I love Purl just as much, she just does not come out of the bedroom much to get her pic taken).
Hey everyone.....how are you? I am doing okay.....I am hoping to have some luck of the Irish (Its St Paddy's Day in a few days) when it comes to my life in general....LOL! I've been struggling with finding balance lately.....balalnce between work, knitting, gym, and just my general mental health. I get new pellet insertion in 2 days so maybe that is what I need, but I guess we will see.
On the knitting front....I realized that last week I uploaded two of the same photos...so here is the 2nd one I meant to upload to show the difference in the icord cast ons...it will not be hard to guess which one I went with....LOL!
So I am certain that some of my lack of balance in the knitting department is that I have just bitten off more than I can chew...but I always do that....so here we go.
Monthly blankets..I still have about 6 triangles to make for this colorway
Then I worked on the sweater for the Purled in Texas MAL/KAL.....I am pretty close to dividing for sleeves and then it will look more like a 'sweater'.
I bought some yarn to make my sister some socks
and I ordered more of the Wolltraum yarn to make some more crocheted shawls...inserting pics of previously finished shawls and new yarn on its way.

Hey yall! I have been busy knitting....and starting a few new things....I know, I know...I have a million wips....but everyone needs a new project now and then.
First, the Purled in Texas Podcast is doing a KAL where you use an OLD pattern you have had in your library/queue since before 2022.... I have had a raglan pattern in my library since August 2021....so I am going to make it with some Comfy yarn I have.
I also got my February Yarn for my shawl club....
My dad's Birthday is tomorrow (he will be 86) so we went to my sister's yesterday and had paella....it was DELICIOUS!
The dogs and I went for a walk and look at this cute sticker on the walkway....
Sorry Flower is getting more camera time right now...but she is just too cute!
I went bowling with Kody, Paige and Antonio....and I did not get a single picture of us...but I got a picture of the first game.....and believe it or not...I won the 2nd game, but did not get a picture of the scoreboard.....yikes!
I reblocked some socks for my sister....they shrunk and needed to be restretched.
and lastly, I decided to start a blanket with my other colors I am getting. I did not want to do another knit blanket in the quilty pattern (that looks like a quilt), and I did not want to make the crochet blanket.....so I just wanted to do a simple fade blanket with garter stich and an I cord cast on....but I really suck at casting on with the icord method....look at how LOOSE this first row is.....
so I redid it where I make the whole I cord first and then pick up stitches....looks so much better...but about 14 rows of knitted had to be frogged.
