Cough, Cough....Go Away!

Hi everyone.....how have you been?  I hope you have been better than me.....last Tuesday evening I started not feeling well and have been sick every since.  I went to the doctor on Wednesday and I have a Sinus Infection, Ear Infection, and Upper Respiratory Infection....I have been on antibiotics for 5 days, but I am still very easily out of breath and still have a cough (and stuffed up head)......but I am getting better!

The only good news out of being sick was that I got some good knitting time (butt some days I did not feel like knitting at all...GASP!).

First I worked on my Snowmelt KAL....which is my BIG 4 item for June.....now, there is no way I am going to finish this by Friday.....but, I did get quite a bit done on it.....I have over 500 stitches on the needles so a row takes some time.

I worked on my socks......

Friday Night Antonio got a new swimming mask and asked me to take him to the pool on Saturday:

Sunday I knit a little more on my socks and got them done!

They have already been claimed by Antonio!

I think I will do Prince of Thieves for July:

Well, that is pretty much all the knitting I got done.  Darlene did come back from vacation and brought me some beautiful yarn!

I want to put these two together with some other colors for either another Fade or the new Mixology Pattern by Casapinka!

This coming week I hope to finish my Joji Wrap and get a lot more done on my Snowmelt MKAL.

That is all I have.....Have a great week!

My two precious babies:

I saw this on a t-shirt and really loved it:

Happy (Mini) Vacation

Hi everyone.....I hope you had a great week!  I know I did.  I had the home to myself while Paige and family went on vacation and then when they came back, it was my turn and I went to it Big Bend with Jaime.  I will have lots of pics at the end of the post.

First....the knitting :)

I worked a little on my Joji wrap....I finished clue 4, then started clue 5.  I did not take this on vacation because it is a little big to travel with and I want to wait for Darlene to catch up so we can finish together....she has been on vacation too since the beginning of June so she has not had that much time to work on it.  Here is what I have so far:

I also worked on my socks....I worked on them in the dark, and in the car.  I have today off (an extra vacation day) so I am working on them today too.

Oh, and I forgot to mention that I also sent Susan from Desert Vista Dyeworks my Andrew and the Bing sisters yarn back, and she sent me a skein that hat the brighter pink.......Yeah!

The only other thing I worked on was one of my Big 4 Retreat items....My Snowmelt KAL.  I did not do much, but I did some.....the progress keeper shows where I was....and you can see how much I have done.

I hate to admit it....but that is all I knit on......can you believe it?  I do have one very fabulous stash enhancement that has nothing to do with knitting......a friend of mine from HS recently moved back to TX from AK......and she brought me a Harley shirt from Alaska....I love it Christine.....Thank you!!!!

And now for vacation picture overload:

Antonio got to touch a jellyfish at the Aquarium! :)

Let's just say it was a little hot!!

Happy Happy Happy Knitting Everyone!!!
