Half the Year GONE......

Hey everyone....I cannot believe that half the year is already gone....and 2020 has been a doozy of a year!

I am sorry my July was not very eventful, but I had the tennis elbow and have not been knitting much.  I did knit at the lake house (the last post before this one) and then I switched to crocheting.

I worked on my Havana Blanket

I also started a shawl/wrap for Shyla.....Darlene is making one for Peyton.  Peyton found the pattern and asked her Awesome Grannie to make her one.....and y'all know how much I like to make the same thing Darlene does!  It is called Perfect Pockets Shawl

That is all I have for knitting/crocheting (and it is all crocheting as my elbow is still healing).

I have been continuing on my health journey and I am super close to having lost 30 lbs....I am at 29.4 lbs right now.   I did a cleanse that one of my trainers wanted me to do.....and I am not longer doing my other trainer's workouts, but an e-book by a company called TTSL/CVG. The e-book is called TTSL (Thick Thighs Save Lives....they have a podcast and daily training too) and the company is called CVG (Constantly Varied Gear).  I got a pair of their leggings and a sports bra for Christmas from my mom (I told her I wanted it) and recently added some shorts and tank tops to my collection.

I also saw a recipe for a pound cake yesterday and wanted a piece so bad....but did not want to make the whole thing because I would eat it all......My family planned a get together since my niece and nephew are about to go off to college.....so I figured I would make the pound cake and take it there....have one piece, and then leave the rest for my family to eat....you know that saying, "Lord, if you can't make me thin, please make my friends and family fat!" or something like that....LOL

My brother in law used his "Big Green Egg" to make some AMAZING steaks (seriously the best steak I have had in FOREVER!) and the whole gang that goes to the lake house with me all pitched in to buy my sister and brother in law some chairs they wanted at the lake house....and my sister ordered them and they came in.....here is a pic at her house (she has not taken them up to the lake house yet).....I sent the pic to all the Great Lake House knitters too!

Lastly, my precious got groomed.

That is all I have.....Have a great week and I will try to be more consistent!

Tennis Elbow and the Lake House

Hi everyone....I know, I know...I missed last week....but, I really have not been knitting much because of my tennis elbow.....this area hurts

and I had some Airrosti done in hopes to heal it.

It has been helping, but the knitting has been light lately.

I have a grocery delivery called Imperfect Foods....they are a little more affordable because the food is well, imperfect.....like not the right cut of fish, or funny shaped bell pepper....well, look at these carrots.....I  put a penny on to see size....they are HUGE!  but they were delicious!

Antonio has been doing summer school.....

I got some new yarn for a test knit with beads......

and it has been so hot, even Alexa had to let me know.

I went to the lake last Wednesday and stayed till yesterday....it was amazing!  I had to grocery shop, and some ass hat parked super close to me (I will insert all pics soon).  I had to frog a good chunk of Bizzle's hat...but did end up finishing it as well.  I took my pink lady nuvem as well.....it has been calling for Jennifer back (LOL)!  My sister's neighbor at the lakehouse has 4 chickens....and a duck....that duck thinks it is a chicken....seriously!  It is so cute!  Then there is one pic that looks like a random picture of the end of a boat and the start of a chair float, but if you look close enough, a crane has a fish in its mouth that is just bent down and got out of the water.....look at the far away dock, the brown pole coming down the base of the dock and you can see the crane's head.  There are some turtle pics, and one where a turtle just finished biting a goose's buttock (I swear I am not kidding).  Elizabeth brought a huge Llama to the lake, and she and Mary got in the water....I got in the water too (on the paddle board) and so did Darlene and Camille, but I don't have pics of those two...LOL!

That is all I have this week.....Have a great week everyone!

Happy Belated 4th!

Hey ya'll....can you believe it is already July?  Well, I am a couple of days late, but Happy Independence Day!

I had a great week this week...but my tendon at my elbow is killing me and I think it might be the knitting...I might have to force myself to learn continental knitting....and I am a little bummed over it because I am sure my gauge will be different....we will see how it goes.

I finished the dishcloths for Darlene....and I made this super cute scrubbie....Jennifer found the pattern.

So I had to make another scrubbier to match her past dishcloths....

Then, Darlene was supposed to go to Amarillo this week so I made a set for Nina...but she ended up not going, so she is going to mail it to Nina.

Jax hung out with me in my yarn room and brought a pillow...I thought it was so cute, I had to snap a picture. I usually don't have those buckets of cotton out, but I was looking for yarn for Nina....so they are in the picture.

Lastly, I decided toward not he hat for Bizzle...I am loving they way it s coming out....I hope to finish this week.

That is all the knitting I have, but I did get some new workout shirts.....

Have a great week every one!!
