Monogamous Much?

So.....we all know I am not a very monogamous knitter or crocheter.....but I have been.....which makes for a super boring knitting/crocheting blog.....but I do have some other things going on in my boring life (well, in Paige and Darlene's life....LOL)......

First....Paige, Antonio, Kody (Paige's boyfriend) and 3 of Paige's dogs all went to the lake house this past week....I know you already got a video last week...but here are a few more pics:

Darlene is making an amazing blanket for her oldest granddaughter, so I am going to try to copy it.

Darlene's daughter, Shyla, has some amazing things in her shop......I have my yarn box next to my knitting chair......love it!

My parents found a nice Russian Market, and we have not had Pelimeni in years.....so they invited me over for some.....it was delicious!

Antonio got some cay and made a colorful mug......we had Trevor (Antonio's friend who has me as his grandma) come over to play (excuse the mess).....and Paige babysat Duke.......

And I only worked on my Moondrip (and that small start of that crochet blanket):

Happy Father's Day Daddy!

Hey everyone....How have you been?  Did everyone have a great Father's Day yesterday?  I know I did......my Daddy is amazing!  We had a fabulous time yesterday celebrating this man!

Well, I have not had much this week....almost all my time has been spent on my moondrip swoncho (pic later).....but Darlene and I both finished our Turban hats for June

Antonio came over and we played Candy Land.....I have not played that game in forever....it was lots of fun

Paige took Antonio and Chief, Princess, and Jaz to the lakehouse........

I also had Celeste this past Saturday and she worked on her Pottery Wheel.....making a Coffee cup.....

Here is my Moondrip Swoncho...I got one sleeve done.....

and I started some DK Brioche socks.....I think they will be too big, but I am going to keep going with them...I am loving the way they look.....

Not Summer Yet?

whhhhhewwwww.....Damn it is HOT......and it is not even Summer yet.  The first day of summer is officially in 11 days (June 21st)....but it is already hot.  Paige thinks her AC is broke, even her thermostat thinks it is broke...it ran for 5 hours yesterday and her house temperature increased 5.5 degrees....yikes.

She also had car issues last Friday......thankfully it was just the battery, even though I tried to jump it and it would not jump.  Auto Zone got it going.....

Jax made a huge mud hole in my yard after the rain

And just after I washed all the sheets and vacuumed a million times....this happened Saturday morning......off to wash again!

I did take Jax to go see my parent's dog, Bella, for a while...and Opa (my daddy), but Jax some toys

Here he is Sunday night playing with toy number one....yup, changed duvet cover and everything

I had Antonio and two of this friends all day Saturday.....they made a mess of the house and built a fort in every room

Antonio made a fortnite design he was very proud of

and I was exhausted....but I did get a little bit of knitting in.....I started and finished my June hat....well, all except the seaming...it is a turban style hat so it just knit as one long strip and then seamed together

and I worked on my moondrip sweater......I am about 6" into the body.

Darlene's daughter, Shyla, made me the greatest yarn box.......

She is AMAZING.....she has other yarn boxes too....you can ask for a custom request.....her word work is so fabulous!!!!

I worked a little more on Tim's ATM hat.....the duplicate stitch is tedious and I do not like to do too much at one time because I think I get sloppy....so I do just a little at a time to try to keep it neat.
