Lots and Lots of stuff

Hey everyone.....how have you been?  I have been great......I have had lots and lots of stuff going on.

Grace other sweater and loves it...and it looks great on her!

I also started a pair of socks for her!

My mom had her last treatment in Houston....so I started and finished my April Scraps Hat!

I also got some really soft "Go For Faux" yarn and decided to make Paige a cowl:

So now she has a cowl/hat set

 I also got some new needle case holders from Jimmy Beans Wool:

I got some extra Smart Stix cords as well:

I also got a new knitting/beach basket

I only worked on two other things......one is the crocheted blanket for my friend's friend.....It is a little over 1/2 way done.

and I started a vest for my dad:

After my mom's treatment.....I hit the beach with Jaime, Antonio, Jaime's boys and their girlfriends....a couple of mine and Jaime's friends came too....Nick and Star met us there

That is really all I have.....Oh, I did see a picture on social media that I would love to be my yarn room.....maybe I can buy all these little boxes and get Paige to come and organize my room to this.....lol!

Tomorrow at this time.......

Tomorrow at this time.....I should be on a plane leaving to Montreal Canada!  I am so excited!  My bags are mostly packed and very heavy....I will see what I can trim down, but warm clothes is heavier than shorts and t-shirts....LOL!

We had a fabulous weekend at the beach....picture overload at the end of this post.

I finished my sweater to take to Canada to wear!

 

Then, I have quite a few stash/non stash enhancements.....first, I got some more of the same yarn to make Paige a sweater with

 

Here they are with my left over partial skein on top...I think they will match nicely:

 

 

Then I even got 5 more skeins in a different colorway for a sweater for me.....I think I might make Nile with this yarn...or maybe a longer cardigan.  Yes, this yarn is very similar to my Knitphomaniac color I made my portage with, but a touch different and I love it!

 

I got a present from Candy Crush....yup, you know you play too much Candy Crush when they send you a gift.

I got a new bag sent from Darlene's shop....I love these doodled sheep!

And Darlene's daughter, Shyla, made me this amazing ladder.  I LOVE IT...THANK YOU SHYLA!  I love how it holds my blankets!

Lastly, I got a new purse......yup, you know how I love my purses!

I only worked on 2 other things besides finishing the sweater.....a shawl for a friend on LSSK (It still needs blocking)....Miss Vicki....today is her birthday....Happy Birthday!

and my test knit socks.....I have turned one heel!

Well, that is really all I have.....my dogs missed me.....probably Max the most...here he is snuggling me with the other two dogs by my side.
