I LOVE DOGS!

Hey everyone.....How have you been?  I hope well.....Well, I love dogs, so I have lotgs of dog related pics this week.

I know we have a while till Fall, but man is it hot in Texas lately!

I podcasted with Elizabeth and Melissa lately and Elizabeth made me the cutest bags (link to her shop) with pictures of two of my dogs.  I LOVE THEM!  She is so talented!

They remind me of a pic I saw on Social Media that had me like "I need this in my life"....I want (and need) a huge pic of my dogs smiling in my house!

I have not done too much knitting/crocheting since last post....I am not really sure what is up with me....but I had Jury duty (one of their qualifications is to be of sound mind and good moral character...that is definately questionable with me, but I was not selected) and added a 2nd skein of yarn to this blanket....it is looking good.

I also finished the short rows on Shyla's Mae sweater (I do not like short rows so I was kinda dreading doing them...but they are done now)

I got my August Monthly Shawl Yarn...I love this color, might have to get a full skein of it....or better yet, a sweater qty....YIKES!

I found someone to 3D print me a Sunfire 2.0 cone winder....and I got it.  I went to use it and unfortunately, the USPS busted it in transit.  However, the lady asked me to ship back (she refunded shipping) and she is re printing it....I did however get one great cone wound.

I also went to see My Love this past weekend....his birthday is coming up Thursday.  Happy Birthday Lupe!

Lastly, We all know how much I love dogs (unfortunately, I am pretty sure I love them more than people).....and since this post has lots of dogs in it....I leave you lots of lovely dog inspiring pics/memes

Goodbye October!

WOW....I think I only got one post in last month and the month is gone!  Not that that is too strange this year as there are several months I only got one post in...but I will try to do better....I was just surprised how quickly October flew by!

Antonio turned 11 in October!  and Darlene finshed his wallaby for him and he had a birthday party at Dave and Busters!

I knitted a couple of hats for Trentons soon to be here baby...her name is Ava!

Then I made Shyla a slouchy hat....in black of course!

I got some yarn to make Peyton a hat.....her team colors are maroon and white....oh, and her color guard and band team is going to STATE!  They are so awesome and I am so proud of her and happy for her!

I also got new bag from Elizabeth....it is one of her Holiday bags!

So why not put the new hat in the new bag!

I got an MKAL kit from the amazing Louise Roberts to do her MKAL that started 10/7/22

Here is is so far (this is about 1/2 way through clue 3):

I started a new sweater with some of Louise's Granola Base yarn...this yarn is so wonderful!

I got my October yarn for my blanket...and finished it in October:

I saw my sister recently and a pair of socks I made her need darning....so I dug through my scraps (used yarn) to find the color I used for her heels and toes

That is all I have....have a great week

Half and Half and Half!

Hey guys!  Can you believe we are more than half way done with the year?  WOW!  What have you been up to?

I finished Crocheting and doing the ribbon on BOTH the crocheted baby blanets.....does anyone elses watch think they are doing an eliptical exercise while crocheting?

I have been working on the nuvem baby blanket too...pictured with a new bag from my co-podcaster, Elizabeth...she has a shop here.

We did a new podcast, link here

I finished the shawl I showed you last time...and finished June's color on the monthly blanket

I donated blood and got a cool tshirt....

I have been walking with Jackson along some paths behind my neighborhood...and we see some deer...this deer was very curious about us

speaking of Jackson...here are some cute shot of him.  I dont get as many cute shots of Purl because she is anti social and stays in my room most days....but I did get one of her....sleeping.

I have been catching one or two hummingbirds at the feeder, but I wish I saw more....I guess this takes time

My favorite bose headphones recently died on me....I cried and then ordered some new powerbeats because of a recommendation...I am not sure if I love them yet or not.

I am still buying too much yarn....but I have plans for (almost) everything...that has to count for something...LOL!

I got this DK Zooey yarn from Juniper Moon Farm. The pink will be Sunshine Coast, and the grey will be Léger Redux.

I got some new Emma's DK yarn....these will be hats or socks.

Okay....now for another part of all the "Half" in my blog titile...not only are we Half way though the year, but I have decided to jump on the Half and Half Triangle train.....this pattern looks like it is right up my alley with lots of garter.  It is knit with Linen Quill....which I 'might' of had a hard time picking my colors so I ordered 19 skeins.

While waiting (not as patiently as most ppl are) on the yarn to arrive, I started one with my Alpaca Boucle I showed you last post....this is the Matchstick colorway and the crystal colorway will be the 2nd triangle....I cant wait to start one with the linen quill!

The Purled in Texas podcast (that I am part of) is also doing a Gifting KAL for Christmas in July.....so I ordered more ornaments to kit covers for.....

Here are pics of my gorgeous children (just because I don't share pics of them enough).

Here are Paige, Tone and Bizz living their fittest life

That is all I have.....have a great week everyone!
