October is here!

Hey everyone!  I hope you are well.  I am thrilled October is here and we have already started to see a little bit of cooler temps.

I thought I hit publish on this yesterday, but I did not....so sorry I am a day late.

I have been working on Antonio's Blanket.  I only have 25 more squares to make....and only 185 to attach.  I am hoping to attach one row (13 squares) per day and I should be able to finish in time.  This picture shows the 60 squares on bottom right that still need ends woven in and 100 squares on top left that have all the ends woven in and just need to be attached.

This past weekend was Lupe's sister's birthday and the whole family went to dinner.  I hope I do not offend anyone with this picture, but here is the gag gift we gave her for her 50th Birthday.....and pics of Lupe with his sister and his brother in law (his sister's husband).

Last week on Wednesday, Antonio had a football game and he got a touchdown....fumble recovery in the end zone!  Congrats Tone!  Here he is with ball at bottom of pile!

Igot a great package from a great friend in Norway.  Ineta sent me some of her Drops Kid Silk in a rusty orange and a golden mustard color.....I love them!  I have to find the perfect shawls to make!  Thank yuo Ineta!

I started the tiny tip of the sophie hood for Paige

and in Mid September I shared a quilt that Darlene made for me....well, she made another one and it says I <3 TX (I love Texas) and this thing is huge!  I am so spoiled by her and Lupe!  I am one lucky girl!

The only other thing I did was work on my Peacock shawl....I got my first section of peacock eyes done!

Lastly, I started the Magnolia Shawl KAL:

That is all I have.....I hope you have a great week!

Happy Happy Happy Knitting!
