Christmas Done.....Here comes 2021

Hey everyone.....I am sure I am not the only one that is ready to say goodbye to 2020......Christmas is done and it was very good to me.  I finished Darlene's wrap, and I also gifted her the test knit I do every year for my friend, Brigit, in The Netherlands.....her Advent Stole is a dream to test knit every year!

I even squeezed out a hat for Bizz and an ornament for Ped.

Now, the ornament above took me 5 hours......like for real maybe even a little more than 5 hours....but this much simpler pattern takes a lot less time (but I did not try this one till after Christmas)......so this is what my future ornament knitting will be:

Darlene got me my annual tea calendar and mug that I absolutely love, but she also made me the most gorgeous quilt that is as soft as butter!  Thank you Darlene!

I also finished that hat I was working on for a friend's father, and the Christmas tree I was crocheting....Paige stole the Christmas tree, put it in her house with lights in it.....

I also finished my Hedgehog Fibers blanket....and signed up for next years blanket with Jimmy Beans Wool....Next year is Malabrigo Rios Yarn.

Darlene's grandson wants a Rasta hat.....so I found this yarn in stash:

Antonio got a Y Flicker scooter and learned to shoot a BB gun......

A special someone got me some beautiful Daisies.....they make me smile everyday!

Lastly, my kids got me a Food Saver (Yeah!!!) and some amazingly soft pants (not pictured because they are on my body) and my parents got me a Lululamon oversized 1/2 sweat shirt....I love it all!  I was definitely spoiled this year!

Well, I think that is all I have.......good bye 2020.....Hello 2021, and please be better to us.....I hope to be more consistent with my blog next year.....thanks for following me!

Still Christmas Knitting......

Hey everyone...how are you?  I am still Christmas knitting.....Yikes!  I am trying to hard to get done....LOL!

I also got my December yarn for my blanket....and just as I thought, it is another main color that I do not need, but will keep for a hat or something.

Melissa, Elizabeth and I podcasted episode 8 (link here) and Elizabeth had her annual Christmas party....not many pics, as we all socially distanced.

Melissa got us monogramed cups...I love them!

I started a crocheted bobble tree

and a hat for our Hat KAL on the podcast

and my author friend sent me an autographed book she has out for Christmas.....its a Christmas Novella and you really should give it a read.....It is called Judge me Not.  Thank you Maggie!

Well, that is really all I have....have a great week....and remember to be kind!

It's the Most Craziest Time....er, I mean Wonderful Time

Hi everyone.....so sorry I have been MIA for SOOOOO long.  Sometimes time seems to zoom past me and other days it seems to stay still.  I cannot believe it is December already and I have not blogged since Nov 10.  WOW!  I promise to be better (not that I am even sure how many ppl read my blog)!

So, I finally finished the MKAL!  I really love it and I am so glad I did it!

Celeste had a birthday and her family took her to the ice skating rink....so I got to wear a sweater I finished a long time ago and never got to wear (it just has not been cold enough).

I also got my November yarn for the Hedgehog blanket...I am almost done with November, then just December and this blanket is done!

I love this blanket so much I already signed up for next year's which will be with Malabrigo Rios (and we all know how much I love Malabrigo Rios)!

I got some gorgeous daisies the other day and they just make me smile everyday!

Well, that is really all I have......I hope you had a fabulous and save Thanksgiving!  I had an amazing thanksgiving with my family....there were exactly 10 of us and we ate outside....it was wonderful!
