Hey Everyone! Sorry I am late with posting this week, but I had an amazing time at the Lakehouse and I just did not want to get on the computer.....LOL!
While I went to the Lakehouse with my knitting girls, Lupe went to Bastrop to hang out with his bestie (more like a brother), Brent and Brent's family, so I have some pics from there too!
First, the yarny things: I got new yarn! No big revelation there. I got a laceweight I have never used before. Hedgehog Fibers Merino Lace. I think you all know I am engaged to marry the love of my life. We do not have a date, but we know we want to do it early next year. So, I decided I wanted to knit a wedding shawl. The Wedding Peacock Shawl like Darlene knit for Shyla so many years ago. I could not decide if I wanted White or Graphite.....so I ordered both and started both. The graphite looks a little purple in some pictures and while it has purpleish undertones, it is really more dark grey,
I have a pretty strict timeline to get this done in 3 months, so there is no way I could do both. Well, my amazing best friend, Darlene, offered to knit one for me. I am going to take the white one to her today! So I will make the graphite one and she will make the Pure one. She is so amazing!
While at the lakehouse I worked on one thing.....Antonio's blanket!

I know I got a ton done, but I just thought I would get more done.....so this means I need to get my tail end in gear to get this done in 23 days!
Paige also sent me a reel in Instagram on a Sophie Hood she wants, so I picked up the yarn
While I was gone, Paige took the kiddos to the Zoo.....aren't they adorable?
When we got home, Lupe took me to get a new v5 Oura Ring. I LOVE it.
And he and I got matching On Cloud shoes....I have been wanting to get a pair of these for a long time!! he spoils me so much!
