Six More Weeks Of.......

 Hey everyone...Groundhog's day was 2 days ago and while I do not know if Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow or not.....how about 6 more weeks of knitting!

I have posted on here a few times about how much Lupe spoils me......here are some more beautiful ballones he got me

Well, now it is time for me to spoil him.  He has wanted a larger TV that is OLED, so I got him a 77" OLED EVO TV.....he loves it !

Of course, I love it too.....I already started (re-watching for the eleventy-billionth time) Harry Potter!

So now that we are officially in February, I can say I finished 6 items (I was at 5 items last blog post)in the month of January.  I finished (sans blocking) my all pink Hugs and Kisses blanket on Friday, the 31st of January!

I have really been in a crocheting mood, so Lupe and I went to Hobby Lobby. He picked out some yarn for a blanket for his soon to be born niece, and I got some yarn for a "spare" baby girl blanket.

So far it is looking great

Also, my cousin's son's wife is having a 3rd baby.  This is the family I have previously made the Good Vibes Throw in a Rouge and Blue.  The 3rd child is a girl, so I started a good vibes (baby size) in light pink.

I also wanted to make Antonio a Granny Square hat.  Here is the start

Do you guys know Ali from Savvy Skeins?  Well, I went to her house to help her with her new CSM....I got 1 measly picture of us setting up....LOL!  But I came home with some Bummer (a pic of dropped stitch) shirts and some boots and spurs!

Now for my biggest pride and joy....2 of my grands....Amira and Tone!  The cutest kids on the planet!

Will this be my year of more FO's?

 Hey everyone.  How are you?  I am doing great!  I realized the other day that January is not even over and I have completed 5 things already.  Okay, Okay, two were only pot holders, but two were full sweaters.

Here are my first 4 items:

 and this past Saturday I knit a new hat for Lupe.  He might have washed his last beanie and it shrunk a bunch....LOL!

I have gotten a lot of work done on this all pink hugs and kisses blanket

and I pulled out my 4 corners baby blanket and finished color 2 and started color 3.

Lupe was able to fix the pipe leak....Thank you Lupe!!  When I asked him to go to the store to get more bottled water, he not only came back with water, but with flowers for me.  This man is amazing!

He also came home Sunday from work with cinnamon roll centers and this beautiful balloon!  <3

Lupe made me some great salads this past week.....and, my BIL had a birthday and he and my sister went to a cooking class for his birthday.  I thought they looked so cute, I had to share

Did we save the time?

Hey everyone....it is officially daylight savings....where I really want to go to bed before 8 pm (that still feels like 9 pm).  I thought I heard that USA is getting rid of this....but I guess not.

So, how was your week?  I started this post last week, but I just kept getting distracted.

I was determined to finish my first hugs and kisses blanket.....and I did......but.  I did an extra row I did not notice and the last two repeats were done backwards.....so the bobbles are on the wrong side! 

So I ripped the whole thing out and then finished.....again!

I have also been plugging away at Antonio's blanket.....it is getting long!  I still have about 9 skeins to finish

I am also still working on the test knit.....but cannot show that one.

Lastly, I have another baby blanket I need to put on my list....so I started this:

Now some fun pics....Antonio was a clown for Halloween and Amira was a bee.  Paige and Kody were bee keepers....super cute!

Here is Amira in a Jeep High chair that Kody's Mom got her.....Paige drives a jeep so it fits perfectly.

Lupe and I went to Costco to get more groceries....my boss told me about these cookies...I should not have purchased...they are addictive.

We also got grapes....look how big they are!

He's a Teenager!

 Hey everyone!  If you have been following me for a while (I started this blog in 2012), you know my grandson, Antonio.  Well, he is officially a teenager!  Happy Birthday to this amazing Teenager!

With his birthday here, it made me pull out his blanket.  I ran into a small snag.  I have 7 skeins of red in a different red than the ther 15 skeins.  So, I had to get creative.  I have so many skeins of regular red, then 3 1/2 of the brighter red, then white, then 3 1/2 of the brighter red and then the same amount of regular red we started with at the end.

I also got in that Feels Like Butta Yarn and started another Hugs and Kisses Blanket

Plus I have made progress on the first Hugs and Kisses Blanket

Then I wanted to start a different crochet blanket and told my friend I was not sure I could make it and she told me I was an excellent hooker!  Love that!

I also pre-ordered a Reading Journal from my Author friend, Maggie Cole.  She signed it and it has page markers and fancy pens.  I love it!
