Getting Ready for the Holidays?

How are you guys?  Have you been getting ready for the holidays?  I have been trying.  I am probably 75% done....but I still need to do all the wrapping which is my least favorite thing to do.

I got some new yarn.  Some self striping to make a pair of socks for a young boy that always comes to my family's Thanksgiving celebration....he was so impressed with the socks I was knitting for Paige, he asked me for a pair in yellow and green:

Then, Paige wore the sweater I made her to Thanksgiving dinner.....

and my niece, Grace, wants one......in a dark blue that is so dark sometimes it looks black but it is really blue.....I found Malabrigo Rios in Paris Night....I think it is a perfect color!  I ordered it rom Wool and Company and they packaged it so nicely!

I have been working on my MKAL Advent Calendar.....  clues 3, 4, & 5:

I also finished my last year's advent stole......a whole year late....I still need to block it.

I have also been working on the Jimmy Beans Wool Craftvent.....I was ahead last week but now I am just done with yesterday's clue....I need to catch up or get ahead again.

With this Craftvent kit I got to try the new Jimmy Beans Wool Smart Stix and I really like them....so I ordered 2 fixed circulars for sock knitting....they are great!  I would like to get an interchangeable set, but need to wait till after Christmas......

Lastly, I have a test knit I have been working on.....a set of overalls for a 6-9 month old....I still need to do the back and straps and add buttons....so a little more to go.

I had Jaz over the weekend and a great surprise visit from Celeste......
