Happy Independence Day!

Two more days till the 4th of July!  I hope everyone has a great holiday!

Do you have any plans for the holiday?  I have plans to stay in PJ's and knit and cuddle with my babies......okay, so those are my plans all the time and any day off....LOL!

Well, Darlene is still gone and I think she may have taken some of my knitting mojo with her.....but thankfully not all of it.  I pulled out an old item from December of last year....it was a mystery KAL (no longer mystery since I am so far behind).....I was not quite done with clue 1 when I pulled it out and now I am almost done with clue 6.....I know it does not look like a lot, but it is lace....so not mindless for me.....this is the only thing I have worked on this week:

This color is very hard to photograph....it is a grey, but it does have little tonal sections that almost look like a light brown....it is a tonal yarn...but it is not quite as obvious in person.

Well, that is all the knitting I have to share.....being monogamous really can make for a boring blog post.....but I have a few other things to share.

I got a new ball winder.  My small Royal Blue one broke and I had my large red one...but it was never really my 'go to winder'.  So I have had my eye on this wooded one for a while and while I should not have bought it (I need to be better and save more money), I am thrilled I did buy it because I love it!

Other than that.....my dad found a dairy farm somewhere and got me a 1/2 gallon of raw milk and a 1/4 gallon of Cream....yes, that heavenly fattening thick stuff on the top....it is so thick and creamy and is wonderful in my coffee!!!

Speaking of fattening....I was pretty good all week in eating well, except on taco bar day....I had these heavenly nachos.....they were amazing!

Well, that is now all I have....I leave you with some cute pictures of

Purl
 Max
 Precious
and Antonio :)

Have a great week everyone!

Happy Happy Happy Knitting!
