Car Shopping and Happy MLK Day!!!

Hi Everyone....How was your week?  Mine was fine.  I am happy to be off today for MLK Day.

This past Tuesday Paige and I went car shopping....one of my least favorite things to do.  I had my knitting packed and was ready for lots of waiting and paperwork.......nope.  I never even pulled out my knitting.  We got there, looked at the car we saw online....Paige test drove and was in love......came in, some clicks on the computer, then over to the sign the paperwork while the car is washed and gassed up.....badda-bing, badda-boom.....Paige is off in her new car and I GET MY CAR BACK!  I have been without my car for 18 days and I missed it so much.

CarMax congratulated her on the big screen:

And here it is:

It is a little bit of an upgrade from her last Jeep, this one is a Liberty (instead of a Patriot) but this one is a 2011 (instead of 2015) so we got the extended warranty.

Paige also got Jazz spayed.....she was worried that Jazz would be all upset and wondering what she did wrong and why mommy took her to that place that made her hurt.....She is just sooooo cute!

Thankfully, she was her same old self when Paige picked her up...here she is on her way home

Okay.....on to some knitting.  Apparently I have been in a bit of a knitting funk.  I am not sure if it is because I know I am not allowed to buy yarn and I am letting that get in my head or what....but I am snapping out of it.  I did knit something special for Darlene that I cannot show yet till after I give it to her for her birthday.....I have a stash enhancement.....now before you yell at me for buying yarn....this is a gift from Louise at Biscotte Yarns....I moderate her group on ravelry and she is far too kind to me for doing it.  I got the Knitting Game Shawl Kit (colors # 2).  Not my exact colors, but I am looking forward to rolling the dice and knitting it.

I also worked on my blanket some more:

I also worked on one of my sister's sleeves for her cardigan....I am almost done with the increases.

I also blocked some socks that needed blocking!

I took Antonio to a Birthday Party yesterday and decided toward only Portage...because I have not worked on it for so long...it was probably the wrong project to take...but I got about 2 or 3 row done.

The birthday party had nachos.....these are like crack to me....I LOVE THEM!!!

Well, that is all I have.......you might get tired of sun rises after a while, but I just cannot help myself:

Happy Happy Happy Knitting!
