Beach Bound and Back!

Hi everyone!  I hope you all had a great week!  I know I did.  I went to the Beach....a last min thing.  My sister has a beach house in Port Aransas, and it was not rented out this past weekend....so as it was not rented as of Friday morning, this we could use it.....Yahoo!  So it was Antonio, Jaime, Jacob, his girlfriend Lizzy, Alex (one of Jaime's great friends) and his girlfriend Marie and myself.....picture overload at the end of this post.

I did get a new T-Shirt.....Michelle from the Knotty KnitWits posted this shirt and I had to get myself one...I love it!

I was working on mostly my secret project all week....and I realized I was going to run out of yarn, so I had to get another skein:

And, I finished it....but I still cannot show you...maybe in a couple of months.

The only other thing I worked on is my And Then Some Shawl, it even traveled with me to the coast

That is all the knitting I have......so now I will overload you with some fun pics.

Then we all went out to eat Saturday evening at a place called Virginia's....right off the water!

After we got back to the house, I had promised Antonio some pool time

 During the evening, Lizzy got really sick and Jacob had to take her to the Emergency room....poor thing.  I felt sooooo bad for her.  So, we usually get up on Sunday, and pack and hit the road...but we wanted to let Lizzy and Jacob get some more sleep, so we stayed till about 2:15.....so I again let Antonio do some more swimming....I swear he is a fish!  LOL!

We left at 2:15 and here he is at 4:03!

Well, that is all I have for this past week.....but I must make a confession....I do have some yarn on its way to me....I know, I know....I suck at this yarn diet thing....BUTTTT....it is not all my fault, a good friend had to point me to a great price on Malabrigo rios yarn (under $10 per skein)...so I have 9 skeins in the Cereza colorway and 9 skeins in the Pearl colorway on its way to me.  I want to make my Avix Sweater with the Cereza, and the Pearl colorway is for a sweater for Paige..... I also ordered some more biggo yarn in a garnet heather color to make another one of those Decemberist Shawls...but this time on size 15's.....and in order to get free shipping on my Knit Picks order, I also got some Felici worsted yarn to make some more Rye socks (the ones I made myself are kinda my favorite around the house socks).
