Last Shower!

Hey everyone....How are you?  I am okay.  Paige and Kody had their last shower this past weekend and it was fabulous....it was at Kody's Mom's house, and she did an amazing job (WARING...Pic overload below)!

 I mentioned back in February (and as you can see from some of the pics above), I made this baby a pom pom blanket.....well, it was the only thing I worked on all last week up to Sunday....and I was 11 min late to the shower because I was finishing it up.  But it is done!

I also mowed the yard and made an amazing salad that I had to share

I got yarn for my monthly blanket....and it came with a surprise...a whole skein of the new cashmere yarn Jimmy Beans wool has!  It is sooooo soft!

That is it...that is all I have about my life....but, I do want to share an amazing story I saw the other day.....a dog that was at the shelter almost 600 days, finally finds a furever home and goes home in a Limo!  I love this story!

I'm Knitting?

 Hey everyone....how are you?  I have had a rough few weeks (what feels like months actually)....but I think I might be close to back at it?!?!  I actually knit this week......I know, right!

First....there was another baby shower for Paige and Kody...this one was at his aunt's house (his father's sisters put it on)....it was great!

I also bought some yarn!

I got yarn in for the February Shawl Club.

It was my dad's 87th birthday, so I had dinner at my parent's house last week....they made spaghetti with shrimp and veggies.....so yummy!

My sister gave me some farm fresh eggs.....

And this was my lazy butts this morning....Purl was actually under the covers.

Oh...and knitting you ask.......here is proof!  I started a sock for Kody....this is of course DK weight....

I seriously got nothing!

 Have you ever had a large amount of time go by where you did nothing?  Well, I feel like I have just let a year go by with nothing....but thankfully it was just a little over a week.  

I have been feeling really low and down lately and just.....exhausted!  I could not figure out why (I still can't completely figure it out).  I thought maybe my hormones were running out (since I get new pellets on the 14th)...and maybe it is part hormones, or part depression...but I did find out it was also part illness.  I started feeling really overly exhausted on Friday, but still worked out and went to work...but come Saturday morning and I was like....Nope, can't do any more.  I had a fever off and on all weekend....I slept all day Saturday and Saturday evening, then 3 naps on Sunday and all night Sunday, then worked 1/2 a day Monday and slept 1/2 the day Monday and slept all Monday night and today I am working all day, but needed a nap during lunch.  I am starting to feel a little better, but I just do not know how to get any energy!  This is ridiculous!

Needless to say, I have no knitting done, no crocheting done....pretty much nothing done.  I am considering being alive at this point a win.  

I missed Paige's Baby shower this past weekend at my Sister's house.  My family sent me a bunch of pictures, but here are the main pics of my beautiful daughter and her beautiful family!

My sister and BIL made a fabulous dinner after this and Paige brought me leftovers....my favorite steak my BIL makes....which I ate the next day....it deserved way more than the paper plate I had it on.

That is honestly all I have....sorry guys.  I am not sure I will have much more for you next week.  I just can't seem to get any energy into this old body.....pray for me!
