ANTICIPATION!

Stitches Texas is just a few days away.....and I cannot wait!!!!  I still have to finish up some stitch markers.....but I should be able to do that!

Okay, I am going to start out with some stash enhancements:

I got my Gum Drop Yarn from Nomadic Yarns....this yarn is so wonderful and vibrant....I cannot wait to cast on these puppies!

Last week, I got some Wollmeise DK yarn in Tandoori Masala and told you I had more on the way for a Sweaters Quantity....well, my last 3 skeins came in!

Then there is Loopy Academy....I got Cascade 220 for the pillow project:

Cascade Heritage Silk for the cable project:

And more Cascade Heritage Silk for the Texture Project:

Then, my Strickmich!Club package number 3 came......I love the pattern!  It is my favorite out of all the patterns she has created so far!  The Yarn is Das Mondschaf Alpka Seide Lace.....I have tried to start the project 3 times, and I am having difficulties...maybe I will be able to get it started this week.

Then, I got in 2 skeins from Susan at Desert Vista Dyeworks....Here comes the Zombride, and If they Kill Abraham.

Lastly, my 2nd cousin from Germany flew in last Wednesday...she will be staying here in the States till December....so you will probably hear me talking about her a lot.  Her name is Lena....I will insert a picture of her, and then the yarn she brought me....it is super squishy!  She got me 4 skeins of this Schachenmayr Merino Extrafine Color 120.

Now for the knitting......I took my awesome new yarn from Germany and started a Weigh it Shawl...my cousin was amazed that I finished one skein while we were at the lake house (I went to the lake house this past weekend....it was me, my sister - Janice, my niece - Grace, my cousin - Lena, and of course my grandson - Antonio)

I also started Socks on a Plane as the cable project for Loopy Academy.

Here is a picture of the pattern I attempted to start for Strickmich!Club:

And I finished the heels in my The Wall socks....I borrowed Darlene's double points to see if I like knitting with DPN's again...but they were too pointy for me....I went ahead and switched back to my Dyakcraft Heavy Metals.

Well, I think that is all I have for you this week....I know it does not seem like much, but I feel like I got lots of knitting done......I cannot wait to post next week and tell you all about Stitches Texas!

I am going to leave you with some pictures from the weekend at the lake!

Happy Happy Knitting!
