Spring Forward is not my friend!

Hi everyone.....did you have a great week?  weekend?  I did.....all except that Spring Forward stuff.  I love to Fall back, but never love to Spring Forward......oh well, it is what it is.

This past weekend Darlene and I went to her son's house in Houston....his name is Casey.  He cooked for us, and made us Moscow mules and cooked and pampered us to a wonderfully lazy weekend.  I will have picture overload at the end of the blog.

I got yarn for Paige's Wallaby's

I finished the blanket I was making him and he loved it!

I worked on the March hat and finished it!

Now for the amazing Knitting weekend at Casey's.....Darlene and I started our vortex's and got about 1/2 way thru the brioche.

I know that does not sound like a lot...but that is 537 or so stitches per row......and at 7 rows of brioche (twice per row) and the cast on is over 8,000 stitches....WOW!

Casey's best friend, Camille, came too....she is AMAZING and I instantly loved her.  She brought both Darlene and I some beautiful Hydrangeas:

She decorated Casey's table for dinner Saturday...we had an amazing dinner party with fancy decorations!!!  I was amazing!

She made a chicken out of a dishtowel....even Casey got a picture of it.

And the girls brought over their mom's puppy boxer, her name is Maisey.....I tried so hard to steal this cutie pie:

Casey has an amazing lake (that Brinley renamed a Conudder).....it had a crane and several ducks.  Casey wanted to look at the turtles and could not find his binoculars, so why not use a gun scope instead.

It was an amazing weekend and I will never be able to thank Darlene, Casey and Camille enough!

I also got some great sunrise shots at my desk this past week

That is all I have.....Oh, I saw this at Buc-ees and it made me think of me and Jaime (because I love bacon so much).

Have a great week!

Happy Happy Happy Knitting!
