Hey everyone! How are you?? Can you believe it is 2026! I hope you had a fabulous New Year!
I have been knitting on lots of hats....but first, I finished the Monday Sweater for Vera...but.....I forgot to take it with me to the New Year celebration at their house, so I need to mail it.
Darlene was making Shlya a Myra hat in black and it was driving her crazy because her stitches were off, so I told her I would finish it. She mailed it to me and I had to frog a few rows before I could get it to a place where the pattern matched.
I also made a KG Beanie for Darlene for her birthday
and then started an Aspenglow for her.
I also forgot to mention one of my greatest gift from Christmas.....an electric yarn winder and I have put it to use!!!
I also got a Hobonichi (a popular Japanese planner system known for its thin Tomoe River Paper, laying completely flat and other things) in the cousin size.....I really want to try to "journnal" or "plan" or just write down my weekly thoughts.....Let's hope it works...so far I have done it every day (I know, I is only the 6th).
That is all I have knitting/crafting, but Lupe and I went to a restaurant called "Lupe Tortilla" this past Sunday and it was DELICIOUS....probably the best fajitas I have had....super tender and tasty!
