Its A......And Happy Thanksgiving!

We had the gender reveal this past Sunday.....Bizzle and Sam did a great job hostessing it at Paige's house.

GIRL!  I am so excited for Paige and Kody!

Paige and Bizz went to lunch last week and I had to steal the pic from social media....aren't my girls gorgeous!!

Well, I am embarassed to say I really have not done much knitting since the last time I posted here.....I have just been in a funk.....but I really need someone to kick my arse into gear because I have a lot of Christmas knitting I need to get done!

Here are the only 4 things I worked on.....and being that I worked on 4 things....very little progress has been made on each :(

Darlene got me my annual tea advent calendar that I love with mug.....here is this year's mug.  I do not have the calendar yet, but the mug came in yesterday.

My SNB group had Friendsgiving this past Saturday and this is the "utility" item that I made (when they said utility item, I had no clue what they meant, so I just went with a decor item).  Darlene stole this gnome (we play white elephant) to take home.

And I stole this pot holder trivet set that was made by Darlene to bring home :)

Earlier in the year, I purchased 2 yarn advent calendar that were delivered yesterday....

I Have Officially Started!

 Howdy Yall!  How are you?  I am well.  I have officially started.......drum roll please.......

Grace's Cardigan.  I casted on and started the ribbing and was going to start the pattern and.......I realized I forgot to knit the first and last 5 stitches (garter)....I had them in ribbing....so I had to rip and restart.....ARGH!!!!  But here it is so far.  It is a little dark because when I had the light on it was totally blown out....Hopefully I will have better pics in the future.

I finished blocking my Sunshine Coast Sweater

My sister invited me to the Shania Twain concert this week, so I think I will wear it there.

I got some yarn to make Gnomes.....the pattern is here.

and the only other thing I did this week was start a christmas present.....this is the boxy cape.  The color is blown out a little....but it is coming along.  I am also using my new progress keeper that I love!

I got some amazing jam and jelly and applesauce from Darlene's daughter, Shyla, it is delicious....She is so talented and good at everything....and she is really good at canning!!

It is No April Fools Joke!

Hey everyone....how you holding out?  Well it is no April Fools Joke that Trump has extended the social distancing guidelines till April 30....so we have at least 5 more weeks of this staying at home...so grab a cup of patience and understanding....we are all in this together!

My dogs will be so happy to have mommy home all day some more.  I just snapped a picture of Jax....and do not mind the mess, but this is the dogs' corner.  Jax has a toy box (filled with mostly wood) and his pillows and chew items laid about....but he was dreaming so I had to snap a pic or two.  Jax comes out the living room with me every morning....my other two lazy buts are still in the bed sleeping.

Antonio is doing his homework daily......

Now.....as for knitting and crocheting....I got quite a bit done this past week....I did not get much anything else done, but I finished the socks I was working on.

Then the blanket for my cousin's baby born March 20th

Broke a crochet hook....I have contacted Furls....hopefully they will replace it!

and then finished a sweater I started 11 months ago.....it is the cream cotton one.  I have washed and dried it.  I am pretty sure it is too big (since I have lost some weight), but I am still gonna wear it.  First picture is before washing and drying, second picture is after.

Well, that is really all I have....with this social distancing, I am hoping to finish up a few other wips as well....maybe bring down my WIP count....we will see.

One thing not gonna bring down my wip count is that I want to start a wallaby for Antonio.  He loves the wallaby that Darlene made me, so I want to make him his own.  I had 4 skeins of Ruby Red cascade 220 yarn and I got 2 more skeins...I think they all look good even though there are 3 different dye lots in this picture....I am not sure when I wills start

Hey everyone...How are you?  I am doing great....I got the new iPhone 11 Pro Max and I love it! 

Jackson's friend, Kayda (I have no clue if I am spelling that right), came over...and they played.

My longhorns beat OSU and my sister, nephew and brother in law were at the game!

My parents are off to Costa Rica.....I hope they are having a great time!  My aunt has already posted some pics on FB I will share with you!

I got a new AMAZING bag from Darlene.....Christmas Gnomes!  I LOVE IT!!!!

The only thing I worked on all week is my Torbellino Sweater....and yesterday I realized that I was missing 37 rows on my spreadsheet so just when I thought I was caught up, I am behind again!

And I am still exercising.....proud of me?  I am!
