Holy Cow....who am I?

 OMG.....who is this person posting on her blog 9 days after her last post?  It must be an imposter!  LOL!

I really do want to try to get back to weekly or at least every other week posting.

So.....some grand kids went back to school....Alexxis and Mario went back on August 12th

Antonio went back on the 23rd

I started my secret Test knit....and will not be able to show you pic till end of December....but let me just put his picture so you know I knit on 'something'

I got some madtosh sock yarn (my fave)

I podcasted with the girls this past weekend and it was our 1 year anniversary and Melissa gifted me a skein of handspun yarn...it is gorgeous and I LOVE IT.  Thank you Melissa!

I cast on for a honey cowl:

My man sent me flowers....I love them!

Darlene gifted me the greatest stitch markers/progress keepers....I love them!  Thank you Darlene!

Lastly, I got yarn for a new blanket for Paige!

Looks Like Monthly is the way to go!

 Well, it looks like my blog has turned into a monthly blog.....I just don't have enough stuff to show weekly.....maybe that should show me that I am not knitting enough (insert sad face)!

So....let's see what I have been up to this last month....I have the yarn for the next triangles for the stained glass blanket

Sunset, Glazed Carrot and then Ivory....

I even started getting the yarn for the 3rd triangle (this just reminds me how behind I am)...YIKES!

It will soon be time to test knit my friend's advent stole pattern.....and I will share the yarn and beads......but that is all I can share till late December after all clues are released.

Celeste and Cat came over recently....and I got a picture of Paige and Celeste together (just because they look so much alike) but I forgot to get a pic of all the grandkids.

My parents had an anniverary yesterday......I am the youngest kid here (bottom left).

and the family recently went to La Fogata for dinner.....from bottom left table....Dad, Mom, Mom's friend my aunt Patti, Kaylee, Matt, Grace, Leilani, Sean (meaning all the college kiddos), me, my sister, and my brother in law!

Remember last month I told you I ordered myself a CSM machine?  well I have bought a few new tools for that machine (even though I will not have the machine for like another month and a half).

and I finished my Good Vibes blanket for me.....Paige loves it so much, I have ordered yarn to make her one!

Well, I think that is all I have....I promise I will try to post more often (I know I have said that for months.....but I really am going to try!)

So many things......Dog Attack, 4th of July, Knitting Retreat!

 Hey Everyone.....a couple of weeks ago I went to my sister's lake house for the annual Knitting Retreat.....and I did not take enough pictures.....I am so sorry!

I took Jax and Purl, so I mostly have pics of them!  But first.....let me rewind.....shortly after my last post, my handsome dog was attacked by a neighbor's pit bulls.  If I rewind even further back, these same two pit bulls killed Precious, but I did not report it because Precious got in their yard.  However, this time the dogs got in my yard.

Here are the two meanies that did it (the mower and pallet were placed after the attack to try to keep them from getting into my yard, but they still got in...these pics are after the attack)!

And here is Jax after vet....the vet said to put a t-shirt on him....isn't he the cutest dog in clothes ever?

The owners of the dogs are renters and SAPD told me not to talk to them, so I have had to file all sorts of paperwork......I had to file an affidavit to get the dogs declared aggressive.

And it worked.....they have been classified as aggressive!

Then the 4th of July came and went.....and here are some great pics of Paige and familia (Bizz and Sam and kids included)

Then it was time to prep for the lake house, I got some yarn to try to knit a tank top with before I went to lake house....but that did not happen.....

Then I got nails and toes done

Then it was time to hit the road.....and Jax was SOOOOOOOO EXCITED!!!!!

Then we got there.......

I even got to see a cicada coming out of its shell.....it was kinda neat!

While we were there, Tami had brought some White Claw drinks that we were all enjoying.....and it was too cute that my sister had this as a toy for her dogs.....

The two Jimmy Beans Wool blankets I am making!

and the crochet blanket......I hit brown while at the lake house!

Elizabeth cranked us some tubes with her CSM and let us crank some of our own...I loved doing it so much, I have ordered a CSM for myself!  It will take 11 weeks to be done!  I am so excited!

After the lake house, my dogs were POOPED!

My aunt Patti is in town from Florida visiting my parents and we went to a restaurant (Clementine SA) where you can pick the option of the chef picking your food (its the "Feed Me" Option)....like a 7 course meal....I did not always get a picture before we started eating, but it was a ton of fun (and I only got pics of the food and forgot to get pics of us with Aunt Patti)!
