Tomorrow at this time.......

Tomorrow at this time.....I should be on a plane leaving to Montreal Canada!  I am so excited!  My bags are mostly packed and very heavy....I will see what I can trim down, but warm clothes is heavier than shorts and t-shirts....LOL!

We had a fabulous weekend at the beach....picture overload at the end of this post.

I finished my sweater to take to Canada to wear!

Then, I have quite a few stash/non stash enhancements.....first, I got some more of the same yarn to make Paige a sweater with

Here they are with my left over partial skein on top...I think they will match nicely:

Then I even got 5 more skeins in a different colorway for a sweater for me.....I think I might make Nile with this yarn...or maybe a longer cardigan.  Yes, this yarn is very similar to my Knitphomaniac color I made my portage with, but a touch different and I love it!

I got a present from Candy Crush....yup, you know you play too much Candy Crush when they send you a gift.

I got a new bag sent from Darlene's shop....I love these doodled sheep!

And Darlene's daughter, Shyla, made me this amazing ladder.  I LOVE IT...THANK YOU SHYLA!  I love how it holds my blankets!

Lastly, I got a new purse......yup, you know how I love my purses!

I only worked on 2 other things besides finishing the sweater.....a shawl for a friend on LSSK (It still needs blocking)....Miss Vicki....today is her birthday....Happy Birthday!

and my test knit socks.....I have turned one heel!

Well, that is really all I have.....my dogs missed me.....probably Max the most...here he is snuggling me with the other two dogs by my side.

Okay.....as promised....beach picture overload:

Vacation Mode already

Hello....how are y'all?  I am great....my brain seems to already be in vacation mode.  This coming Friday I go to the Beach with my family....my cousin, Lena, made it here from Germany

and then next Wednesday I fly to Canada to see my friend Paulette for one week!  Yahoo!!!

I really only worked on three thing this past week.

The Virus Shawl for Vicki (I added the 2nd skein):

I worked in the test knit socks (I really need to give these more attention).

And I worked on my sweater....I worked on my sweater while watching football and having dogs in my lap:

I am 85% done....it is looking good.

Just about one more inch before the hem.

Antonio came over and played Basketball...he is in Basketball now and wanted to practice, and from pic above, you can see I also had Jaz.

And I got the new iPhone Xs Max and LOVE IT!

Oh, I almost forgot....I received a picture of Bizz's nephew wearing the hat I made him.....he is going to outgrow it in a day, so I need to make him another for winter.

That is just about all I have....Have a great week everyone!

And it is STILL raining.....grrrrrr!

Hey everyone!  I hope you have had a dry week!  My week has been wet, wet, wet!  It is still raining here and my backyard can't take anymore......not to mention that I cant mow and the grass is growing too tall!  Okay, whiny rant over......

I did go to the lakehouse this past weekend (yes, it rained there too) along with Jaime, his friend Nick and Nick's girlfriend, Star.  We had a great relaxing time!

Of course I had to lure Nick there with Ding Dongs....LOL!

I got a pedicure before we left and boy did I need it!

Paige sent me an Instagram post with someone wearing a hat she likes

I could not find the exact pattern, but one of my LSSK sistah's found one that Paige is happy with...I'm hoping to start (and maybe finish) this week:

When I was in the Miss Babs Knitting Tour, in Sept 2016, I got a gorgeous skein of Keira in the Silk Road colorway (about midway down in this linked post).  I liked it so much, I ordered a 2nd skein (about midway down in this linked post).....then last week I bought a skein from someone's destash hoping I could put them together for a sweater...these are all the same color, all dyed at same time (Sept 2016) for Miss Babs Knitting tour, but they are so different.  I hope to maybe fade them in a sweater.

Lastly....I only worked on two things.....some socks I started for a test knit and my sweater!

Well, that is all I have......Jaime is healing well!  Thanks for all the well wishes!

Have a great week everyone!
